The Magical Kenya Safari will show you diversity of game in Kenya and different landscapes and culture. From the big five to the small five, Kenya’s game parks, reserves and other wildlife protection areas host some of the wildest game thus the reason why this is home for the safari. Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

We assume that you will have a night into Nairobi or if you are departing from Nairobi same day as your arrival it should be before midday. So we can get to Samburu in time for lunch.

If your flight arrives in the late afternoon then an overnight in Nairobi is advisable before departure for your safari the next morning.

Early morning departure, leave the bustling city behind and travel to the arid region of Samburu and Shaba. These reserves are sustained by the Ewaso Ng'iro River and support a variety of wildlife - keep a lookout for the long necked Gerenuk and Oryx while on a game drive in the late afternoon. Spend the night in comfort in your luxury Kenya safari accommodation.

Day 2: Explore Samburu

After an early start, head out on a game drive to see the regions wildlife. In the afternoon more game viewing drives at 4.00pm ending at around 6.00pm. Alternatively if you want learn about the culture of the Samburu while visiting a traditional homestead is an optional activity at extra cost. Samburu means "the butterfly people" and they are called this due to their ornate bead work and colourful style of dress.

Day 3: Samburu to Olpajeta conservancy

In the morning leave Samburu behind and drive to the Olpajeta conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is an important “not-for-profit” wildlife conservancy in the Laikipia District of Kenya and the largest sanctuary for black rhinos in East Africa. Arrive in time for luncha the sweetwaters tented camp.

Afternoon game drives will follow inside the conservancy, visits to the rhino or chimpanzee sanctuary are charged as an extra cost.

Day 4: Olpajeta conservancy - Rhino sanctuary

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park

Today you'll travel to Lake Nakuru National Park where you can see the thousands of Flamingos that feed in the shallow waters along its shores. This is also one of the best places in Kenya to see White Rhino. After lunch and some time to settle in set out on a game drive to explore the reserve.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve

Leaving Lake Nakuru behind today you'll travel to one of the most famous safari regions in Africa, the rolling plains of the Masai Mara, famed as the site of the Great Migration which sees up to 2 million Wildebeest moving in a cycle in search of fresh grazing. In the afternoon set out on a game drive in search of the regions abundant wildlife.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve

On this day of your your safari you can opt to start the day with an amazing early morning game drive at 6.00am followed by breakfast, then set out for mid-morning and afternoon game drives to see the abundant wildlife that call the Mara home.

Day 9: Masai mara to Lake Naivasha

This day you will journey to Lake Naivasha; a large freshwater lake which is part of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. It is home to an abundance of birdlife, including the iconic African Fish Eagle and a large population of African Hippos.

Enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Naivasha and spot African wildlife on the banks.

Day 10: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast today you will travel to via Nairobi towards southern side of Kenya and enter the Amboseli National Park. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful stops on African safari vacations, with its scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After settling in and tucking into lunch, head out on an afternoon game drive. The Park is famous for its Elephants with large tusks.

Day 11: Amboseli National Park

Wake up for an early breakfast and a full day safari awaits in the Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is vast expanse of semi dry land. Watch the interactions of the elephants in their large family herds.

In the afternoon you can go up Observation Hill to see the panoramic views across the whole park. Return to lodge in the late afternoon for well deserved sundowners and a sumptuous dinner.

Day 12: Amboseli to Tsavo West park

Drive to the Tsavo West National Park, one of the largest conservation areas in the World. The park is home to one of the largest Elephant populations on Earth. In the middle the Mzima Springs are a great place to see Hippo. There is even an underground hide to give you a glimpse of life under the water. After settling into your accommodation in Tsavo, enjoy a tasty lunch and a siesta before heading out on a game drive in this vast National Park.

Day 13: Tsavo West park to Mombasa

Depart for Mombasa after breakfast arriving at around mid-day depending on traffic. Drop off at hotel or airport.
