Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Masai Mara
Starting from per person sharing

Day 1: Lake Nakuru Park

Lake Nakuru park is dubbed 'the greatest bird spectacle on earth' due to the millions of Fuchsia-pink flamingo that flock to feed on the teeming algae of its alkaline waters.

Lake Nakuru is also an ornithologist's paradise, a uniquely rewarding game-viewing venue and a sanctuary for both the black and white Rhino.

Today you'll travel to Lake Nakuru National Park where you can see the thousands of Flamingos that feed in the shallow waters along its shores. This is also one of the best places in Kenya to see White Rhino. After lunch and some time to settle in set out on a game drive to explore the reserve.

Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Located on a range of hills that form the western limits of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, the lodge offers spectacular views over the vastness of Africa.

The lodge also overlooks Lake Nakuru and its surrounding National Park, one that is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike.

Day 2: Masai Mara park

Leaving Lake Nakuru behind today you'll travel to one of the most famous safari regions in Africa, the rolling plains of the Masai Mara, famed as the site of the Great Migration which sees up to 2 million Wildebeest moving in a cycle in search of fresh grazing. In the afternoon at around 4.00pm set out on a game drive in search of the regions abundant wildlife, return to camp for dinner and overnight at around 6.00pm.

Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp

Ashnil Mara Camp has a beautiful setting in the middle of the Maasai mara National Reserve., nestled amongest a small forest overlooking the Mara River approximately 45 minutes from Keekorok and 30 minutes from Olkiombo airstrip.

The Camp

The Camp is best known for its stunning location, comfortable accommodation, excellent food and good services. The camp has 40 luxury tents and a swimming pool

Day 3: Masai Mara

As dawn unfolds over the Maasai Mara, the origins of the region's name soon become clear: Mara, Maasai for "spotted," is an apt description for gnarled trees, and ever-changing shadows that dot the landscape. And on today's morning 0600am and afternoon game drives, we delve deep into this spectacular scenery. We search for grazing giraffes, speedy antelopes and wading hippos, but our most sought-after sightings are of Africa's Big Five – the five most fierce and dangerous animals on the continent: African buffalo, black rhinos, bush elephants, leopards and lions. And if we timed our trip right, there's more: the Great Migration. This annual event is considered the Eighth Wonder of the World, and for good reason: every year, millions of wildebeest (gnu) and hundreds of thousands of zebra thunder across Tanzania's Serengeti and into the Maasai Mara, comprising the largest land animal migration in the world

Day 4: Lake Naivasha

This day you will journey to Lake Naivasha; a large freshwater lake which is part of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. It is home to an abundance of birdlife, including the iconic African Fish Eagle and a large population of African Hippos.

Enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Naivasha and spot African wildlife on the banks.
