Sarova Salt Lick Lodge is a safari escape set in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary overlooking a waterhole and the vast Tsavo plains. Salt lick lodge borders Tsavo west park and therefore considered as park of Tsavo West. Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge has 96 unique rooms, all elevated on stilts and built across two levels, with en suite bathrooms with permanent showers and WC, and running hot and cold water. Salt lick lodge has these three levels of accommodation double, twin or triple beds depending a client’s preference. Salt lick lodge is built in individual round buildings with conical roofs with each building raised on multiple sturdy pillars. These structures are arranged around a series of watering holes where animals come to drink at all times, in the day and night. The lounge and bar have balconies, decks and wide windows all around for unobstructed animal viewing through out the day and night. The lodge has one restaurant and a bar where meals and drinks are served and accommodate up to 150 persons at a time. All meals are served buffet style and does cater for a range of dietary requirements.
