Nairobi – arrival
Pick up from JKIA and transfers to wildebeest camp for overnight, bed and breakfast basis.
Nairobi to sweetwaters (2hrs)
Begin your first day on you Kenya safari and travel towards Nanyuki, then depart for Olpajeta conservancy, game drives en-route to the camp arriving in time for lunch at Sweetwater’s tented camp, the olpajeta conservancy is home to Big Five game including rare Northern White Rhino Visit the chimpanzee with the sanctuary returning thereafter to the camp Dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Tented Camp
Olpajeta conservancy to Samburu (4hrs)
Breakfast at the camp then depart for Olpajeta conservancy, on the way to the tribal lands of Samburu Game Reserve, where you will spend the rest of the afternoon on a game drive. Samburu is situated in the semi-desert Northern frontier area of Kenya and contains many species not easily found elsewhere in the country, such as Gerenuk, Oryx, Greys Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp

In the morning set out on a game drive in the park, a great opportunity for photographs and tracking rare wildlife. The Samburu are semi-nomadic pastoralists. cattle, as well as sheep, goats and camels, are of utmost importance to the Samburu culture and way of life. Cultural village visit optional. In the afternoon set out on a game drive, along the river in search of its resident wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp
Samburu game reserve to Lake Baringo
Breakfast at the Lodge then depart for Lake Baringo, with a stop-over at lake Bogoria to visit an area of bubbling hot springs and steaming geysers. Stop off and admire the pink swathes of Flamingos on the soda lake. Picnic lunch here, then head for your camp. Dinner and overnight at Lake baringo Island Camp
Lake Baringo is the most Northerly of Kenya’s small Rift Valley lakes; creased with papyrus and well developed acacia forest. This is Kenya’s bird watching centre with over 450 species. You can enjoy spectacular bird watching during your safari holiday in Kenya. Take a morning boat ride around Ol Kokwe and Rock of Gibraltar with an experienced bird and animal guide who can call and feed the fish eagles. Morning light is best for bird photography. Longer boat excursions around the lake including “Giraffe Island” can also be arranged. The Island is on the Ruko Conservancy. Giraffe isolated on the island with other wildlife including ostriches, impala, rock hyraxes and large monitor lizards. Dinner and overnight at Lake baringo Island Camp
Lake Baringo to Iten (3hrs)
After breakfast and transfer to the mainland by boat, drive through Kerio Valley which is a 4,000ft. deep valley with semi-tropical vegetation on the slopes leading down to dry thorn bush at the base, with impressive views. This is a relaxing day enjoy the pleasures of Kenya highlands life. Dinner and overnight at Kerio view lodge.
Iten to Lake Nakuru (4hrs)
After breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru, driving through Eldoret town which part of Kenya’s food basket. Arrive in time for luncha, Afterwards head out on an afternoon game drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of Flamingos. Afternoon drives in search of animas, the drive will stop off at Baboon Cliff and you will watch the sun set over the lake.
Lake Nakuru to Nairobi. (3hrs)
On the final day of your Classic Kenya Safari you will have an early wake-up and set out on a game drive. Depart after breakfast and drive through the scenic countryside to Nairobi where you will board your return flight at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
