Tsavo West, and Tsavo East safari

Day 1: Diani beach or mombasa to Tsavo West park

Early morning departure from Diani or Mombasa and drive to Tsavo east park, arriving at the gate by around 11.00am. enter tsavo west through tsavo river gate, the drive to Tsavo west is via the Mombasa Nairobi highway which take about 3-4hrs depending on traffic. Once inside the park begin game drives en-route to camp arriving in time for lunch, short break until 04h00 followed by afternoon game viewing drives until 06h30 returning to camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ngulia Safari Lodge

Tsavo west is about 205km from Mombasa and about 3hrs 30 minutes’ drive depending on traffic. From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some great game viewing and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species.

Day 2: Tsavo West to Tsavo East park

Early morning drive at 06h30, return for breakfast at the lodge, visit mzima springs 08h30 - Depart for Tsavo East, this drive will be about 2 hours to voi gate, a bit on rough road then the rest on tarmac road, there will be a stop for toilet use, before we get to the Tsavo park by around midday, a short game drives en route as you head to the lodge or camp, Lunch at around 13h30, take a well-deserved rest until 4.00pm followed by afternoon game viewing drives arriving in time for dinner overnight at the Lodge or camp.

Tsavo East is simply the Elephant in Eden - The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the red soil and mud is a sight to behold.

Day 3: Tsavo East park to Diani beach or Mombasa

Early morning drive at 06h30, return for breakfast at the lodge.08h30 - Depart for Diani after breakfast, drop off at Mombasa airport or hotel, or Diani beach at around 14;00hrs

Safe Payments

On booking your safari with us, we will ask for a 50% down-payment with the balance due 45 days prior to your arrival. Payments can either be made by electronic bank transfer or by credit card (Master Card and Visa) through our Direct Pay payment gateway in over an encrypted Internet connection. We will never ask you to send us any credit card details by email nor will we keep any records of your credit card details! The protection of your personal data is paramount to us.
